Already Late is a band shaped by a long list of genres and genders. On top of a variety of guitars, catchy hooks (in both English and Japanese), funky bass lines and drum beats as energized as a riot at a punk rock show, they have managed to find spots in their set for electronics, as well as some ukulele. Thanks to their genre-crossing and bilingual–tracks, their eccentric live shows promise to excite a diverse range of crowds.
What first got you into music?
Johnnie -When my dad got me my first guitar, that changed everything.
B-Stixx -My dad was a musician, so it was something I was always around. My earliest memory was going on stage super young and banging sticks together during one of my dad’s shows. It’s been like that ever since.
How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?
Johnnie -If you’re a musician and you’re not on the internet idk wtf you’re doing.
B-Stixx -It makes it accessible for everyone to get their art out there. It helps!
What is one message you would give to your fans?

Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
Johnnie -Sometimes for too long. And if my driving playlist is on, whoever listening is going to hear anything from an anime opening to a show tune
B-Stixx -All the time but less now that I have roommates. Anything I am currently listening to OR whatever pops in my head for the day!
Which is cooler? Dinosaurs or Dragons?
Johnnie -Dragons. Next question.
B-Stixx -Aw man! Aren’t dragons basically dinosaurs? Dragons! They spit fire.
Which fictional character do you wish was real?
Johnnie -Spongebob–or anybody from Bikini Bottom…I got some about those bubbles.

Johnnie -Candyland or Monopoly –but that’s only if I feel like making enemies
B-Stixx -Anyone remember Mouse Trap? That was my game!
If you were talking to a younger version of you, what advice would you give yourself?
Johnnie -Enjoy it now because it only gets worse. Also, you should practice more.
B-Stixx -Don’t be too hard on yourself. You are doing the best you can be due to the circumstances. I know you are very confused by don’t worry! You’ll figure it out and will be so happy/grateful that you did.
