23 year old Gabriella Stella is a high octane singer/songwriter with a burst of pop energy in a very petite package. Her fierce choices of surprise and righteous raw sound leaves you desiring one more rift.

With her previous skills of acting and modeling; it separates her from the wave of other pop artists. Her explosive performances are filled with original choices, possibly eclectic musical ears. Her musical influences are Demi Lovato, Julia Micheals, and Miley Cyrus. Gabriella has performed at The House of Blues, Disneyland, Grand ole Opry Mills, and local venues.

Who inspired you to make music?

Funny story, I remember the day I saw Hannah Montana on Disney Channel. I remember this feeling of thinking I can make this happen. I started googling vocal lessons, vocal training, watching performances of artists etc. The first time I performed on stage I was only seven years old. But I had this feeling like I finally belonged somewhere and felt at home.

If you could open up for any artist, who would it be?

I would love to open up for either Miley Cyrus or Harry Styles. I have the utmost respect for their artistry and their growth as artists. They are both unapologetically themselves and such great performers. I would love to be able to soak in the knowledge of just being on tour with them.

How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?

Social media now plays such a huge role in the music industry. I think it gives people an equal opportunity to get into the music industry. It used to feel like you had to take on this giant cooperation; but now you can post a video on an app and possibly go viral. I love the community we have created with the small artists.

Who would you like to collaborate with?

I would love a chance to collaborate with Olivia Rodridgo. “Sour” was such a great album; and the fact she is kicking ass at 18 is inspirational. Her writing has such weight to them, and her voice paired with it… wow! I would love a chance to pick her brain and write a song with her.

What are your current music projects?

I am currently working on my debut EP, and I am beyond excited to release it. The song is a baby of “Bad Love” and “Paranoid”. I wanted to do something moody and dark but have similar lyrical vibes of “Dirty Laundry”.

Do you sing in the shower? What songs?

I actually don’t sing in the shower; I just talk to myself or have fake interviews. I like to practice if I am ever asked to interview on E.

You are a new addition to a crayola box. What color would you be?

I would have to be a baby pink crayon. I am so obsessed with the color pink, so baby pink is the move. The name of the crayon would be called babygirl to pay honor to my first song “Babygirl”.

Would you rather be the one in the movie who gets the hero/heroine or the baddie with all the good lines?

I would want to be the baddie with all the good lines. I think of a character like Maddy from Euphoria, and it seems like such a fun role to play. I used to be in acting and they would always cast me as the “mean girl” role.

Which fictional character do you wish was real?

When I saw this question, I immediately thought of Damon Salavtore. I am a huge fan of Vampire Diaries. I have re-watched the whole show at least 6 times all the way through. I love his story arc and he’s fine, so why not.

What was the last show you watched on tv?

I can’t even tell you because I hardly watch tv anymore. But I did watch “The Sex lives of College Girls” on HBO MAX and I highly recommend. It’s all about girls in their twenties trying to find themselves. I just loved the cast and the comedic timing of the writing by Mindy Kaling is impeccable.
