Treneti is a multidisciplinary artist who harnesses the apex of her creative energy through SOUND. As a self-taught musician, vocalist, bassist, producer, and lifelong professional dancer, Treneti is a prime example of creative limitlessness found with the proper convergence of trust in the unknown and dedication.
Born and raised in inner-city Chicago, Treneti is heavily influenced by her Chicago-House roots. A true New Earth Renaissance woman, Treneti is a trailblazer in the new and evolutionary field of Regenerative Arts. She is the founder and CGO of Soulful Resonance an emerging Regenerative Arts Production Company and Primordial Sound Archives a Regenerative Arts Music Production company.

Treneti infuses a deep understanding of the importance of embodiment, self-introspection, and healing frequencies into her music. Treneti believes the rhythms and melodies of our ancestors are stored within our DNA. In her song composition process, she engages with this remembrance, bringing forth a truly unique emanation of the sacred ancient nomadic and celestial essence of humanity.
What is your creative process like?
My creative process is very explorative, I always say I receive songs. I usually just start from a place of no thought and just find an instrument that makes me feel intrigued. From there I typically lay down the first melody or beat and then let it ride. After there are enough layers to feel like a space or scene is starting to establish itself I will name the beat. Lyrics sometimes start flowing before I even arrange the composition fully and other times I will sit on a beat for a few months before lyrics come. If a track is meant to be instrumental I know right away though.
What about your music is rebellious, unconventional, or unusual?
Pretty much everything about my music is rebellious, unconventional and unusual. My choices in sounds, rhythms, and layering of circular rhythms and melodies in 4/4 measure the abstract and inter-sectional nature of my music genre. It’s pretty much in its own lane entirely. There are not many artists playing with synthesis and precise healing and planetary frequencies the way I do either.
Has your musical journey had a deliberate direction or did it simply gradually evolve in whatever direction it found?
I am an extremely lucid and visionary Being. I always tell people I didn’t choose music, music chose me. I was pursuing creative expression as an art director and contemporary dance choreographer until about 2017 when I got the vision I was supposed to do music. I saw my future self sharing my music and my dance in unison to very large audiences. After that, I just completely committed to music and flowed the path without trying to control it too much because I knew everything would unfold naturally. When I created my last album A Fertile Nile. I knew things were about to take off because the sound I was able to achieve on that album resembled the music from my initial visions closer than anything I had created to that date. Now I just feel fully anchored in it. I have my sound and my team over at Soulful Resonance keeping my visual media on point. Things are beautiful.

What are your ambitions as a songwriter and musician from here?
Well, the goal is always to continue growing in technical skill and creative prowess as a composer, producer and audio engineer musically speaking. But music is only an aspect of my creative legacy. I have a regenerative media production company and we are working on bringing some very powerful new cinema and animations into the world. As I develop as a music artist I am simultaneously growing as a storyteller, art director and leader of my company Soulful Resonance. You all will continue to see amazing things from us. This is just the beginning.
If you could learn any language fluently what would it be?
Currently working on Egyptian Arabic. I’d like to also become fluent in Swahili, Amharic and Spanish
If you could be a superhero, what would your superpower be and your superhero name be?
Well, I lucid dream often and I have superpowers in my dream realm. So my favorite abilities are the ability to move through solid objects and the ability to shoot light language grids from my hands and slay evil ones with the power of my energetic frequency.
What would be a good theme song for your life?
“Feather” by Little Dragon IS the theme song of my life 🙂
What was the last TV series you watched on TV?
I watch a lot of Anime. I am usually watching 5-6 shows simultaneously lol! But to not make this answer too long, I recently finished Demon Slayer and Arcane. I am also enjoying the new season of Stranger Things.
Which are cooler? Dinosaurs or Dragons?
Uh, Dragons all day. They are way more ancient and mystical than Dinosaurs in my opinion and most definitely one of my spirit allies. I have a very fun song out called “Ancient OG Dragonz ”, definitely a worthy anthem for fellow Dragon lovers out there. Also if you haven’t read “Lalibela” by Gabriel Teodros in the collective novel Octavia’s Brood it’s definitely a worthy Dragon tale to check out.
Explore a New Perspective with Treneti in New Song, Galactic Cadillac
Musician, dancer, and all around artist, Treneti, is gearing up to release more music into the universe. Next up from the artist is her song, Galactic Cadillac. This song is an interstellar blunt cruise through the cosmos. Reminiscent of the impressionist era of music, Treneti layers rhythms and melodies to create an entrancing chill electronic composition.
This song will also be accompanied by a brand new music video. The Galactic Cadillac music video is an inspired expression of Treneti’s relationship to the dance. Treneti is a multidisciplinary artist who has been cultivating an original technique of movement called Geometric Configuration Technique (GCT). She believes that within mathematics, Divine Law is held in pure order. In GCT, Treneti uses geometry as a means to understand and refine the mind, body and spirit connection through movement, sound and awareness. When Treneti started producing music, she always knew it would allow her the opportunity to express perfect emanations of her dance philosophy. In the Galactic Cadillac music video, viewers see GCT in full effect. The Galactic Cadillac music video is the final video of a three part series where Treneti went in the studio with her team to show the embodied practice of dance as an introspective martial art rather than simply a medium for performance.
