Raised in Brixton, 21 year-old rising R&B artist Santino Le Saint releases the first offering from his upcoming EP with an explosive new track “Feel Like Drugs”.

A natural multi-instrumentalist, Santino first began to make waves in the scene in 2018 with his EP ‘Xeno’ blending electric guitar licks with smoky, polished R&B – echoing his earliest, old soul and rock influences, Jimi Hendrix and Curtis Mayfield as much as it did The Weeknd.

Santino has since been in the studio collaborating with some of the brightest R&B and production talent in the scene – a testament to his high regard in musician circles – with the likes of 070 Be Heard and House of Pharaohs’ Sam Wise as well as producers Sidney Swift (Beyoncé, Future), Blueysport (Khalid, 6lack, Post Malone) and Dayyon Alexander (Ella Mai).

Now Santino re-emerges with an incendiary new release blending emotion and frankness with his inimitable blend of styles. Speaking on the track, Santino states: “Feel Like Drugs” is a true story about infatuation and love feeling like being drugged up, before experiencing withdrawal-like symptoms from losing something you once had. Me and the Cloud X team filmed the visual with filmmaker Harry Lindley – it was inspired classic drug scenes from “Trainspotting” and Gaspar Noé’s “Into the Void”.

With his new EP on the horizon and with close artistic ties to the designer Julien Macdonald, Santino continues to carve his own musical and aesthetic path.

From production to songwriting to electrifying guitar solos, Santino’s work crosses boundaries with a rare degree of outrageous confidence.” – Clash Magazine

Santino the R’n’B prodigy with production skills and emotional depth that remind us of “The Weeknd’s” first mixtape on the other.” – Noisey

“Vocally, Le Saint’s style is mostly R&B; rich, soulful and full of power, but his intricate guitar-playing makes for a striking take on what is otherwise a (mostly) electronic-led sound.” – Complex
